Civic couple spread some Christmas cheer to Padiham care homes

Festive hampers have been delivered to three care homes in Padiham from the Mayor and Mayoress Coun. Vince Pridden and his wife Gillian.

Coun. Pridden said: "We wanted to bring some cheer to staff and residents to help with their Christmas celebrations and let them know they are in our thoughts through these difficult times."

The civic duo visited Meadow Lodge Residential Care Home in Whalley Road, Hilton Rest Home in Quarry Street and Woodside Home for the Elderly in Burnley Road.

The Mayor thanked staff at Padiham Tesco, and manager Claire Gaffney for their help with donations and deliveries of the hampers.
