Cheers to a fabulous night of dancing at the Fence Charity Ball

A total of 205 guests enjoyed a fabulous night of drinking and dancing last Saturday at The Fence Gate.

The glittering event, which offered entertainment from singer Adam Parker Brown and magician Chris Cooke, raised a grand total of £10,184 for SafeSpace. The charity supports young, vulnerable people in the Pendle area.

Among the prizes auctioned off was an evening with Michelin Star chef, Tom Parker, of The White Swan in Fence, and a £2,000 bathroom, courtesy of NPM Bathrooms and Tiles.

Pendle MP Andrew Stephenson helped to organise a private tour of Parliament, including dinner as a prize, while Luxe Occasion Wear in Whalley offered the use of a McClaren car for the whole weekend. There was also a framed England football shirt signed by Alan Shearer up for grabs, thanks to Scruples Menswear in Barrowford.
