Burnley solicitors' 'Uncork and Unwind' wine event to raise for Pendleside Hospice

Inviting guests to join them to enjoy a laid-back evening of fundraising and food-and-wine pairings from around the globe at the beautifully restored Tubbs of Colne on Albert Road in the town, DRN Solicitors are aiming to raise funds as part of their Pendleside Hospice Corporate Challenge.

Taking place on Thursday, 20th September from 7pm, the night promises tables laden with food and drink from their own specific place of origin with ticket-holding guests treated to tasting notes, wine, and delicious food designed to match perfectly.

“We’re excited to be hosting this exclusive event at Tubbs of Colne as part of our Pendleside Hospice Corporate Challenge," said David Lawson of DRN Solicitors. "We have taken part in many fundraising activities for Pendleside Hospice in the past and every time we have enjoyed fantastic support from our colleagues, clients and the general public.

"We hope that we see just as much support for 'Uncork and Unwind', which promises to be a fantastic event for wine lovers, gastronauts, or anyone interested in winning some great prizes in our charity auction," he added.

With the food on offer including Spanish tapas, French canapés, Italian antipasti and pizza, new world treats from the Americas, and European delicacies from Central Europe, all paired with corresponding local wines, with each table enjoying a different wine and a selection of white, red, rosé and sparkling to choose from.
