Burnley pupils spend day in their pyjamas to help project launched to support veterans across Lancashire

Hollie Murdoch and Nicole Lord, who are year six students at St Stephen's Primary School, came up with the idea and children were asked to bring in donations of food for a new project to support ex veterans.

Healthier Heroes opened at the beginning of December and will offer support, advice and guidance to ex soldiers and their families. The project has accommodation, a community hub, cafe and foodbank.
