The petrol-head staff from Holker IT, who are based out of Jubilee House on Phoenix Way in the town, took their philosophy of being quick off the mark to new levels, swapping their keyboards for dashboards as they went head-to-head at the prestigious event at the famed Daytona karting track in Milton Keynes.

Flourishing despite the gruelling two-hour endurance race necessitating multiple driver changes and pit stops, the team finished in a very respectable seventh place with managing director Matthew Metcalfe - dubbed the ‘Ginger Stig’ - just two seconds short of the time set by four-time F1 World Drivers' Championship winner and British favourite Lewis Hamilton over one lap of the track.
