“Hopefully this fun end to the challenge will help add a little more awareness to the issues of mental and emotional well-being and the work the Samaritans undertake on a 24/7, 365 days a year basis. It will be great to see as many people as possible.”

Burnley PT is pushing himself to the limit for Samaritans

“Sadly every month in the UK, well over 500 people take their own lives, with over three quarters of these being men. From a personal perspective I have known friends, and friends of friends, who have tragically added to these statistics.

"The work Samaritans do in extending a safety net to vulnerable individuals in emotional need is vital.”

Samaritans Pendle branch director, Victoria Haworth, added: “This brilliant fund-raiser is a lovely example of how an individual and business can help both to raise funds, but more importantly raise awareness of the issues surrounding suicide and the work Samaritans undertake.

"Thanks to Anthony and FLS Fitness your generosity and efforts are very much appreciated.”
