Keen to do as much as they could for the hospice in celebration of their 10th anniversary, Root Fifty Two have taken part in a number of fundraising events as well as putting their expertise to good use to produce RCommunity Magazine, a non-for-profit publication designed and produced in house with all proceeds from advertising going to Pendleside Hospice.

Established in 2008 by Director Kimberley Thompson, who originally ran the business out of her home office, Root Fifty Two has blossomed over the years and now has six members of staff at their Business First HQ. Specialising in web and graphic design and digital marketing, the company now works with over 100 businesses, including the likes of Batch Gin, Fagan and Whalley, Petty Estate Agents, and Donald Race & Newton Solicitors.

"Everyone knows who Pendleside Hospice are, and with it being out 10th year we really wanted to do something more," said Kimberley, with the first edition of RCommunity Magazine having raised £1,360. "There's been a lot of late nights, but it is an enjoyable thing to put together."

As well as the magazine, the R52 team have also been fundraising in a range of other ways, including at the Pendle Pub Walk, through their RFooty World Cup Predictor, and at Nelson and Colne College's Fun Day, when they ran a tombola and sold homemade cakes and fudge.

"Ten years is an amazing achievement - but I'm also looking forward to many more years of success and seeing our client-base and portfolio grow," Kimberley said.
