And the icing on the cake came for Fierce when the dance duo, Twist and Pulse, who are Ashley Glazebrook and Glen Murphy, came backstage to meet them after the show.

For not only did the duo meet and chat with the group they also agreed to take part in a Tik Tok video, the latest craze used to create short lip-sync, comedy and talent videos, with the five for a competition they were entering .... and they only went and won it!

Their thrilled instructor Lorna Digger said: "The boys came backstage to meet us so I asked them if they would take part in the dance also for the competition which was being run by the United Dance Organisation.

"They did and when it was announced this week that Fierce had won it was an added bonus."

Fierce were chosen to open Twist and Pulse's UK tour last week in Manchester. Fierce, who are Katie Lister (18) Nadine Bergundo, Dylan Moy and Jacob Ainsworth, who are all 17 and 16-year-old Isabella Smith, performed at the Royal Northern College of Music along with two other groups.

They were chosen as the winners after Lorna sent off a short video of Fierce in action when she saw a competition for dancers to appear with the top act during their tour.

The London lads originally shot to fame when they came second in Britain's Got Talent a decade ago. The tour is to celebrate their 10 years together.

Winning over tough judge Simon Cowell the duo were invited back to the champions' show and after receiving the famed golden buzzer from Alesha Dixon they went on to win one of the country's most watched television shows.

Fierce have been dancing together for over five years and have won a clutch of awards.

Lorna, who runs Dynamic Dance Studio, added: "Fierce are such a strong team together, they know each other so well and are really close but they also work very hard.

"I am extremely proud of them."

Lorna, who is mum to 14-month-old Ava, put together a mash-up combining a medley of tunes and street dance moves for Fierce to perform and an army of parents, friends and relatives went along to cheer them on.
