The five dancers, who call themselves Fierce, will open the UK tour in Manchester next week with dance duo Twist and Pulse who were the winners of the grand final of the show Britain's Got Talent: The Champions last year.

Fierce, who are Katie Lister (18) Nadine Bergundo, Dylan Moy and Jacob Ainsworth, who are all 17 and 16-year-old Isabella Smith, will perform at the Royal Northern College of Music next Tuesday (February 18th) along with two other groups.

They were chosen as the winners after their dance teacher, Lorna Jackson Digger, sent off a short video of Fierce in action when she saw a competition for dancers to appear with Twist and Pulse as part of their live tour.

The duo are London lads, Ashley Glazebrook and Glen Murphy, who originally shot to fame in when they came second in Britain's Got Talent a decade ago. The tour is to celebrate their 10 years together.

Winning over tough judge Simon Cowell the duo were invited back to the champions' show and after receiving the famed golden buzzer from Alesha Dixon they went on to win one of the country's most watched television shows.

Proud Lorna said: "I received the news they had won while were at another competition and it was so exciting.

"I had to wait until they had finished performing to tell them the news and they were shouting and jumping around with excitement.

"This is such a fantastic achievement for the dancers and also for the town to be chosen from all those who entered."

Fierce have been dancing together for over five years, starting at Burnley's Energize Dance and Fitness in Burnley where Lorna used to teach before setting up her own school, Dynamic Dance Studio, last month. In their years together they have won a clutch of awards.

Lorna added: "Fierce are such a strong team together, they know each other so well and are really close but they also work very hard.

"I am extremely proud of them."

Lorna, who is mum to 14-month-old Ava, has put together a mash-up combining a medley of tunes and street dance moves for Fierce to perform next week. And an army of parents, friends and relatives will be joining the audience to cheer them on.

Lorna must certainly have the magic touch for this is not the first time her students have been chosen to dance with top acts.

Previous students Tegan Williams, Molly McHugh and Izzy Riley were all picked to share the stage with pop megstar Justin Bieber during his world tour along with Fierce dancer Nadine..
