Allison wanted to do something to help the hospice as it has faced tough times during the pandemic as so many fund raising events had to be cancelled and all the charity shops closed.
As she is always changing her hairstyle and also dyeing it Allison thought it would be a good idea to shave it all off.
Her son Evan (13), a pupil at Blessed Trinity RC College in Burnley, did the honours for his mum live on facebook.
Alllison added: "I shaved his a couple of weeks ago so he said he would do mine."
