Artisan Ribble Valley in Billington invited its usual regular singers to perform from the safety of their own home, and asked supporters to pledge money towards the NHS Charities Together.

Proud owner David Haigh said: "As our customers and friends currently are unable to enjoy their evenings with us at the Artisan Ribble Valley we thought we would go to them - virtually of course.

"So for the past three week we have had our wonderful regular local singers perform live within Artisan on their own - apart from a camera man of course - with the sole purpose of making some money for the local NHS, plus also to keep these amazing singers in people's minds.

"Thanks to their fantastic performances we have currently raised £2,500 with over 50,000 views. We are hoping to increase this figure - and our artists have agreed to even more performances, so we will be continuing with more events every weekend."

The artists that have performed so far are Liam Blake, Andy Clark, Ella Shaw, Geno Eccles, Freya Kelly, Sochia Eckersley, Holly Shutes Music, Philip Halliwell, Furious Styles, Alex Birtwell and Lewis Birtwell.

David has now urged others to sign in, enjoy and donate whatever they can at the next live performance, this Friday at 6-30pm.

He added: "All of the proceeds go directly to the charity. It is the Artistan Ribble Valley and our artists' way of saying thank you for all the hard work and dedication that the NHS staff are doing for us all. We also want to thank all of our customers for their support and look forward to welcoming you back as soon as we can."
