The long-running charity event rolled into the Pendle countrside at the weekend, despite early fears it may not go ahead due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Yet, thankfully 85 tractors and their drivers, rolled up for the fund-raising ride taking in Fence, Higham, Barrowford, Higherford, Blacko, Roughlee, Barley and Newchurch.

"This was a tremendous figure considering we couldn't have the collecting buckets we normally do due to the social distancing restrictions. That said, a lot of people commented how nice it was to have some kind of normality back.

"We had lots of different types of tractors - modern, vintage, large and small. There were also some vintage cars, and a £200,000 Valtra tractor. Vehicles came from Pendle, Clitheroe and Slaidburn, as well as many other areas."
