10 images taken by young photographer including the Singing Ringing Tree and Burnley College put spotlight on the town

Keen amateur photographer Zakhary Creaser is using his photographic skills to put the spotlight on his hometown of Burnley.

Zak (21) has a real passion for his work and wants to use it to promote Burnley, Padiham and the surrounding area. He first became interested in photography many years ago, taking photos of planes at Manchester Airport with his dad.

Zak said: “Back in 2020, I really started to build my photography skills. I started research and learning about photography and the techniques. I bought myself some new equipment and started demonstrating my skills.”

A former student at Ribblesdale High School in Clitheroe Zak studied engineering at Burnley College, which he loved, but he admits that behind the lens is where he loves to be.

Here is a selection of some of Zak’s images.
