Pendleside Hospice asks for donations of unwanted gifts

WITH Christmas now a distant memory, you may be wondering just what to do with those gifts that were not quite what you wanted. Pendleside Hospice has come up with a solution that will help people in the community.

The hospice is asking you to donate all those unwanted gifts so they can be recycled as raffle and tombola prizes or sold in one of their seven charity shops.

The hospice relies on support from the community in order to raise the funds needed to provide care to local people suffering from cancer and other life limiting illnesses. Any unwanted gifts can be taken to the hospice reception at Reedley and the hospice is happy to accept most items except food or drink that has been opened or electrical items unless in a sealed box.
