It is called “Sally the Life Coach”, created by writer and director Daniel Johnson. The four-part comedy show will be available on www.sallythelifecoach.com

Actress Natalie from Colne attended the town’s Park High School and played parts with Pendle Hippodrome Youth Theatre and Colne Dramatic Society before becoming a professional. And she was also given one of our Leader Times Stage Awards, sponsored by Howard Rigg, thanks to her great amateur acting skills as a young star here.

Now she is quickly building a reputation as an actress who tests herself in a variety of challenging roles.

After her award-winning role as Kirsty Soames in “Coronation Street” (Best Newcomer at 2012 National Television Awards), she then went on to compete on BBC1’s “Strictly Come Dancing”, where she was a finalist and was highly awarded by the judges. She is now turning her attention to a new format – the Internet.

She said: “Any platform that allows an artist to showcase themselves should not be ignored, and the internet provides the perfect way to introduce the viewer to so much exciting entertainment- without boundaries.

“ ‘Sally the Life Coach’ is small but perfectly formed as a web series, and I hope that people enjoy watching.”

The show’s creator Daniel is also keen on the web-series format, and feels it allows for great creativity.

He said: “The hardest thing about TV and film is that so many people get their hands on your script, and they have tons of changes they want you to make. Doing a web-series in a completely independent way means I was able to create the show I wanted to create, and with the cast and crew I had specifically chosen.”

What made a nationally-known TV star choose a web-series from a little known writer/director as her next project?

Natalie made it clear. She said: “I took on the role of Sally the life coach because I loved the script. It was different to anything I’d read before – fresh, slick and funny, but ultimately human and heart warming,”
