Pendle Community Hospital benefits from charity night

A grand charity night has raised £915 for a stroke unit at Nelson's Pendle Community Hospital.

Byerden House social club in Burnley was the venue for the evening where the audience were entertained by comedian Mr Fizeek, and singers Paul Aaron and Simone Chantelle. The compere was Jean Pasquill and all artistes, who gave their services free of charge, were provided by GEM Entertainments. The money raised was handed over to the Marsden ward and health care assistant Jenny Gardner thanked them on behalf of everyone at the unit.
