Parked car flipped in smash

The incident happened at around 10.25am on the A583 close to the junction of Vicarage Lane and School Lane at Newton with Scales.

The driver of the red Hyundai i10 is understood to have had medical problems at the wheel.

The vehicle collided with a red Citroen C4 which had been parked on the pavement, flipping the stationary car onto its side.

Lancashire Police said the driver did not sustain life threatening injuries.
