Further plans to reduce flood risk in Padiham will be outlined at a public drop-in event.
The Environment Agency is holding the event in the ballroom at Padiham Town Hall between 2pm and 8pm on Tuesday, June 26th.
All are welcome to attend, including local residents, business owners, or any other interested local parties.
The Environment Agency is currently developing and designing a scheme to reduce flood risk to the town from the River Calder and Green Brook.
The drop-in event will give people the opportunity to hear more about the work that has already been carried out, the solutions being proposed, and the approximate timescales the EA is working towards.
The EA has been working closely with Burnley Council which has secured Local Growth funding through the Lancashire Enterprise Partnership to contribute towards the scheme.
