What is MP’s view on fracking?

Maybe I am being overly suspicious, but when I read a supporting letter or article about a procedure that may affect every citizen in Pendle (if it happens) – one that has caused devastating toxic waste and pollution in the not so distant past in other areas – I cannot help but speculate as to the position of the writer and find myself asking if the writer would be happy for fracking to happen in his own garden.

People who are as concerned as I am, who have children that will inherit the land and whose welfare we are considering putting at risk, can sign on-line petitions or write to their local MP.

I might add I like Mr Stephenson very much.

But I do not support this government, and although I have asked, I have not yet received a reply on his view of fracking.
