What do medics say about care in our hospitals now?

Our MP reminds us again the decision to transfer the A&E to Blackburn was taken “under the last Government”. So it was, but at the time it was said to be a medically-driven decision so we should get better treatment.

Though we may have been sceptical about this claim at the time, someone in the medical establishment must have made it or allowed it to be made on their behalf.

Who was it? What do they say now?

And let’s not forget it was under the present Government that our hospitals were so bad they had to be put under special measures and still require improvement!
