What are this politician’s true colours?

Following the letter last week regarding Mr Rush I’d like to further some of the points and cast doubt on some of the assumptions made.

I also would like to see Steve Rush’s political banner; it is fine resigning from UKIP to stand as an Independent “For the sake of the town”, but are his true colours still nailed to their flag? What does he actually stand for? Other than writing letters to the Clitheroe Advertiser about local over-development, has he looked into the planning laws and used them to strengthen his argument and offered those as his objections? What would the electorate in Littlemoor be buying into if they elect him?

I take exception to him being called our “Champion” as I don’t believe he has been voted in once in the last five elections – hardly a positive signal from the electorate.

I also question the “integrity” issue (sorry Mr Rush as I don’t actually know you at all) but did he have integrity when he was in UKIP and abided by their principles, or does he have integrity now he’s out? Discuss.
