Tribute to well-respected councillor
I was sorry to hear of the sad death of former Lanehead ward Conservative Councillor for Lanehead and also Mayor of Burnley Fred Brown.
Fred was a well-respected councillor for many years and a very popular Mayor.
He also served on Lancashire County Council.
Sincere sympathy and condolences to his wife Ivy and all the family.
