Time to clean up Burnley’s housing estates
Once again Calico Homes receives credit for renovating derelict homes. When is Calico going to take a look at its own properties on the estates of Burnley.
Their tenants are being allowed to neglect their homes. They are dumping rubbish and household waste in their gardens and main streets. Calico says it is unable to remove this rubbish and Burnley cleansing department says it is the responsibility of the landlord. That landlord is Calico Homes.
Let’s get some pride back into our estates, especially for the people who have worked hard to buy their property from Burnley Council that the late Margaret Thatcher campaigned for.
