Thanks for your help in fighting diabetes

I am writing to thank readers for supporting the Big Collection weekend at Tesco, Burnley, on October 4th-6th.

With the help of volunteers and donations from customers, we raised an incredible £553.52 for Diabetes UK.

The weekend was organised as part of a national charity partnership between Diabetes UK and Tesco. The money will support the millions of people who live with diabetes; help hundreds of thousands of people take action to reduce their risk of Type 2 diabetes; and fund investment into research for a Type 1 vaccine.
