Thanks for all you did for the Clarets, Arthur

The Clarets Trust is very sorry to hear of the sad death at 71 of Arthur Bellamy and extends our sincere sympathy and condolences to his wife Maureen and all the family.

Arthur was a great Clarets player moving into the first team when Jimmy McIlroy was sold to Stoke City. A regular first team team player until he moved on in 1972.

After retirement as a player, he returned to Turf Moor and Gawthorpe were he became a familiar and popular face hold a number of different jobs with the club.
