School work is only ‘crumbs’ left
To hear Andrew Stephenson boast about the recent school building work in Pendle is really taking the biscuit.
The truth is that this work is the crumbs left over after all the major work that was planned was cut by his Government and with his complete support.
For example, the Colne secondary schools, along with West Craven, were due to be rebuilt under Labour’s Building Schools for the Future programme. Andrew Stephenson’s Tories came in and cut all that, while giving a tax cut to millionaires.
