Residents want to hear inquiry findings

The following is a letter sent to Coun. Stuart Hirst, leader of Ribble Valley Borough Council, and copied to the Clitheroe Advertiser and Times:

Following the article “Residents win homes appeal” published in the Clitheroe Advertiser and Times, you commented on the Inspector’s decision and stated you had asked Coun. Hill to conduct an inquiry into the “flawed” advice given to the RVBC Planning Department by LCC Highways officers.

May I ask when the results of this inquiry will be made public? Should it be that no inquiry has been made, or, if it has and you do not intend to publish the findings? I think the residents of Clitheroe would wish to hear the reasons why in either case.

Andrew Moore,

Clitheroe
