Residents help out mountain rescue team

On behalf of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team, who had a street collection in Clitheroe on Saturday, July 12th, can I thank the generous residents and shoppers of Clitheroe who helped raise £631.23.

Many of our costs, such as fuel and insurance, have been rising more swiftly than general costs, so the money donated will greatly help us to help others who get into difficulties in our wilder and more remote areas, especially around the Ribble and Hodder Valleys. Thank you.

Clive Shelley,

Treasurer of BPMRT
