Police should not have picked on tramp

I am contacting you regarding the treatment of the disabled homeless man who unfortunately came into contact with a member of our constabulary who was apparently at a loose end that morning.

I would have thought he may have had something better to do with his time rather than pick on a vulnerable person who obviously needs help rather than punishment.

I have come into contact with him on several occasions and he is polite and shows no aggression whatsoever.

If this an example of the big society I despair.
