POEM: A tribute to Blackburn Royal Infirmary

A TRIBUTE to Blackburn Royal Infirmary

Inhale the smoke as you enter the centre,

But when inside experience and compassion becomes your mentor.

From the tea lady to the consultant the attention is great.

Through them, Blackburn Royal Infirmary soon became my best mate.

Each member of staff transmitted compassion and love,

Their aim to get me better not to send me above.

Attention to detail was without fail,

Healing vibes were transmitted from both male and female.

On this bed of confidence my heart would never die,

And after a week in Blackburn Royal Infirmary, feeling better, I did fly.
