LETTER: Would you run the marathon for us?

Consequently we are inviting people to apply to raise money for the hospice.

As we only have the one place available, we ask that you pledge to raise at least £2,000 and pay a non-refundable registration fee of £300. This will be added to your sponsorship total.

East Lancashire Hospice cares for people in Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley who are coping with a life-limiting illness and the cost of providing this special way of caring that makes such a difference to our patients and their families is £3m. each year.

As such we rely on the support of our community and events such as this to raise the much needed funds that come back to helping local people.
