LETTER: World’s Biggest Coffee Morning thankyou

Together, we all raised £500! Every penny raised helps support people affected by cancer and their families.

It helps to fund Macmillan nurses, support workers and to ensure people are assisted, supported and not alone.

Because you made time, we all made a difference!

The coffee morning was a fun event where people came together, enjoyed tea and coffee and a large selection of delicious homemade cakes and cream tea.

We secondly wish to thank the very generous and kind, benevolent congregation of Blacko Chapel Hall, who not only donated the use of the hall for free, but also gave their Harvest gift collection, a magnificent sum of £130, as a donation towards our coffee morning money.

We also wish to sincerely thank all the generous shops and businesses of Barrowford, who sponsored/supported us, through very generous and charitable donations of excellent raffle prizes.

Thanks also to our wonderful friends and family who offered their time to help on the day or who helped with preparations before the day, baked cakes and/or gave donations, please accept our sincere appreciation for all you did to contribute towards the success of the coffee morning.
