LETTER: What a great weekend at Waddow Hall

Congratulations to Waddow Hall as a venue and to the Flower Festival and associated activities which helped make our stay in Clitheroe very successful.

We stayed over the weekend of August 24th to celebrate my husband’s 65th birthday. People came from all around England and were very impressed. The tourist attractions of Clitheroe and Waddow are well worth publicising.

The facilities of the hall as a place to stay and eat are first class. The stables and cottage sleeping 15 each were perfect, the meal at Waddow Hall for 43 was well prepared and presented.

The staff could not have been more helpful. The additional entertainment of the Torchlight Procession and fireworks provided by the council for the community rounded off a wonderful weekend.
