LETTER: We pay National Insurance, we should get the flu jab

it is yet again I put pen to paper with some anger as I think the NHS and the Government are a disgrace and let me tell you why I think this.

My wife is 60, worked all her life and paid National Insurance all the time. Every Christmas without fail she gets a bad dose of flu which lasts until the New Year and she cannot have a flu injection until she is 65.

It is my opinion that this is outrageous. When someone has paid their National Insurance they should be entitled to all medical assistance regardless of age. We are not British citizens any more, we are just people that pay in and do as we are told. Disgraceful.
