LETTER: We need to bring hanging back
THE recent article about a cruel drunk who killed a cat by smashing the animal into a brick wall sums up what he is.
This person is an example of other yobs who dish out violence for no reason at all. They have no respect for people or animals at all.
The only solution is for a return to hanging and flogging for crimes such as these because no one is safe.

Hide AdThe courts and magistrates do not punish yobs for these offences in a proper way. How many times have we heard sob stories where people say they cannot remember doing things because they were drunk?
I and many other people think this is a lame excuse as they are just liars. Let’s have a referendum for capital punishment to be returned and have a decent society for people to live in peace.
