LETTER: Volunteers needed for Colne in Bloom
Your piece last week reporting I what said about Colne in Bloom at Pendle Council’s Colne and District Committee was rather old news – by the time it appeared the CIB team had already decided to enter North West in Bloom again this year! This is really good news. They do a wonderful job for Colne but that job gets a big bigger every year.
It’s mainly done by volunteers and they do need a few more. You don’t have to be a “Dorothy Lord” or a “Michael Osborn” – just someone willing to help out in a small way.
