LETTER: TV more important than economy to Prime Minister?

This country of ours must be in a very good position at this moment in time. Forget the shortage of flu vaccine and lack of take-up of the vaccine available, forget petrol prices, increased VAT, national health cut-backs. Forget also the lack of affordable homes and terrorist alerts raised to a higher level and educational reductions.

These minor annoyances are nothing to our Prime Minister who has a more important agenda. On the television news the other night, he did a photo call to do which he had to take a break from posting leaflets through letter boxes in Oldham. The Conservatives had no chance of winning the seat, so Mr Cameron must have been leafleting for the Lib-Dems. Mr Clegg was using his helpers to the best of their abilities, but he must remember that favours need returning at some stage.
