LETTER: Thanks to Euro MP for health card reminder
Many thanks to Sajjad Karim, MEP for the North-West, for his reminder in last Friday’s Express to renew the European health insurance cards. I had thought these cards had no end date.
When I checked, ours had expired in 2009! Luckily we have not travelled to Europe in the last two years, but will be soon.
I have just applied for renewal, via the direct.gov.uk website, and it only took minutes.
The application should be processed in 10 working days.
