LETTER: Thanks for leukaemia charity cash boost
A COLLECTION was held in aid of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research’s Awareness month.
The first part was held in Burnley Market Square on September 17th and raised a splendid total of £351.13.
The second part took place the previous week in the out-patients’ department of Burnley General Hospital where a much-appreciated £296.33 was raised. This made an amazing grand total of £647.46, a very generous contribution from the kind-hearted people of Burnley and Pendle (especially in the current economic climate). Heart-felt thanks to all concerned.
