LETTER: Thank God for Good Samaritans
mAY I please thank the young men who assisted my mother after she fell and banged her head in Parker Lane on Thursday, December 22nd.
They made sure she was not injured and arranged a taxi to take her home, even paying the fare for her. My mother, who will be 90 in the next few days, thanks you for showing such kindness.
When one reads of a similar incident that occurred over Christmas in our town and compares the very different responses we, her family, thank God such Good Samaritans were nearby to help her.
We don’t know who you are but thank you again and we do hope the lady involved in the incident on Burdett Street soon recovers from her ordeal.
