LETTER: Stick to the speed limit!

I BET all of you who live in Fence, Higham and Wheatley Lane think of yourselves as good, honest law-abiding citizens - don’t you?

So how is it, than, none of you seem unable to read a simple road sign?

When you’re heading down Greenhead Lane into Burnley, the speed limit changes to 30mph as you cross the motorway.

So why is it, then, that each time that my dog and I try to cross the road as Greenhead Lane and Barden Lane meet we are sent scurrying for cover by motorists who are still doing at least 60mph in the 30 zone?
