LETTER: Roundabout adverts are a danger to motorists

Over the past weeks I have noticed the increased use of advertising boards on roundabouts.

Recently advertising boards have appeared for Oakhill College and Northcote on the associated A59 roundabouts. Not only is this yet another sign cluttering our roads, but surely is a dangerous practice: the roundabouts are tricky enough to negotiate at peak times, and these advertising signs are yet a further distraction which are quite frankly not needed.

Who has given permission for these to be put up, as there has obviously been no regard for safety in the decision process.
