LETTER: Recycling teams should clean up after themselves!
COULD Burnley councillors please tell me why it is that when the recycling gang come round there is more rubbish dropped on the road than put in the bins.
I think it is an absolute disgrace. The council want us to recycle so why don’t they tell the recycle team to pick up the rubbish they have left.
If a dog soils on the street you get fined £75. If you drop litter you get fined, so why is there no legal action taken against them. The streets in Burnley might be a lot cleaner.
