LETTER: Musical maestro was an inspiration
IT was with great sadness Ian and I heard of the passing of Kathleen Mitchell (L.R.A.M., A.R.M.C.M.)
I had been a pupil from the age of seven until I was 14.
Kathleen made music a large part of my life, which paved the way for my career in music which lasted 40 years.
We were both delighted to be invited to Kathleen’s 100th birthday party and catch up on each other’s news.
Kathleen was a gentle lady who we will always remember and feel proud to have known.
