LETTER: More dog wardens needed round our school

Whittlefield Primary School Council is concerned about people not picking up after their dogs. The dog mess is on the paths around our school and on the grass outside the school gates. The pupils of Whittlefield Primary School are standing in the dog mess and treading it onto school property.

We are concerned about the health risks for our pupils, especially the infants who may not be as aware of the dangers unlike our older pupils.

We would encourage your readers, who live around the Whittlefield area, to pick up after their pets. We would also welcome more wardens on patrol around the area.
