LETTER: Jobs have gone to make way for Tesco store
HAVING read various articles and comments over the last few weeks regarding the development of the new Tesco eco superstore i.e. traffic congestion and general chaos etc., I am left to wonder if all this is what is meant by the term “eco.”
It is being assumed the store is going to be a success but this may or may not be the case.
Time will tell but it must be borne in mind that at least 30 jobs ceased to exist on the site of the proposed store. This might have happened anyway but, nevertheless, these jobs have vanished forever. Fait accompli.
