LETTER: I thought doctors were there to save lives
WHY did Joan die: (Burnley Express, February 15th)? I said to myself yes, why did she? As I read on it was a replica of my wife’s case. The doctors looked to put a do not resuscitate note on her.
Joan’s daughter believes her mother was placed on the end of life protocol, the Liverpool Care Pathway. I always understood doctors were there to save lives.
