LETTER: Head-on collision at Waddington Fell is coming
Am I alone in thinking there will be a head on collision at the summit of Waddington Fell?
As you approach the cattle grid at the summit, both sets of signs – from both North and South – indicate oncoming vehicles have priority.
If you know that as you approach there is the temptation to think the oncoming vehicle will give way.
Stupid, I know, but drivers like that are common and if two approach from opposite directions at roughly the same time there will be a collision.
