LETTER: Has Nelson the only new Post Office without a post box?
AFTER a reader wrote in decrying the state of Nelson’s new post office, it is nice to see new carpets have been put down. But where’s the post box? A few weeks ago, the pavement was dug up and I thought we were going to get one. Why not, when the council has no objections? Ah, but silly me. There’s one round the corner, but it is a mighty big corner and it is set back off the path.
Do you think the Guinness Book of Records would put in as the only new central post office in the country to have no post box?
