LETTER: Happy New Year from your Conservative councillors

On behalf of your Conservative Colne councillors, we would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year.

Over the past 12 months, we have been working hard to represent every resident of Colne, Foulridge, Laneshaw Bridge and Trawden.

Some of the most noticeable achievements include the re-opening of Shackleton Hall, improvements to pedestrian area of Dockray Street, a proposed new clubhouse for Holt House playing fields, farm watch, proposed community first responders for Trawden and Laneshaw Bridge, an upcoming rural conference, funds to replace missing grate covers, small grants for new local businesses, support for local community groups such as North Valley Community Centre, Colne Connected, Knit and Natter Group and Colne in Bloom plus many more.
